Westholme School runs a secure coach service to a wide catchment area for the use of any Westholme pupil. Coach routes are flexible, pending need. The School will always consider incremental routes to cover new areas.

Routes and timetables are reviewed every summer to accommodate the demand for places and stops. The charges for using the coach service are reviewed at the same time and in general terms tariffs are based on the distance travelled. Current charges for specific routes can be obtained from the Office Hub. Parents are asked to book the requirement for each academic year at the start of the previous summer. Providing there are spare seats, pupils can use the service for occasional casual journeys, but need to check in advance with the Office Hub for availability and purchase a ticket.
There is a discount available if not all journeys are required during a week (i.e. 5 morning and 5 afternoon journeys). We often find parents only book the morning journeys because additional school activities at the end of the day can get in the way!
