An evening of jazz in the Westholme Theatre
Westholme was thrilled to welcome Jacqui Dankworth and her Band to the theatre for an evening of wonderful jazz musicianship. Jacqui is one of the country’s leading jazz vocalists and the concert showcased her talents as a songwriter and lyricist – and also her versatility and mastery of a wide spectrum of genres including folk, soul and blues.
To get the concert underway, the one hundred and twenty-strong Westholme Choir sang a medley of Michael Jackson songs. Jacqui later admitted to ‘bopping backstage’ during their performance!
