Year Two visit the Jewish Synagogue

Year Two visited the Manchester Synagogue as part of their study of Judaism in their Religious Education lessons.  

The children have already had hands on experiences by making their very own Torah scrolls, but the visit to a  real synagogue really brought the topic to life.   The children had the opportunity to see a real Torah scroll as well as other Jewish artefacts like a Yad, Kippah, Mezuzah and Tallit.
