Junior Boys Christmas Sports Party!
The Junior Boys enjoyed a wonderful evening of Christmas cheer and sport! Mr Appleton divided the boys up into teams that delighted in the names of Snowmen, Reindeer, Kings, Wisemen, Santas and Elves.
The boys made a great effort and dressed up in the Christmas finery! We had Santas, elves, reindeer, christmas jumpers and even Pikachu!
A friendly tournament of festive benchball was played and it was fantastic to see the Yr3 boys being encouraged by the Yr6’s.
It was all played in the right spirit and eventually the Snowmen were crowned as champions.
We retired to the senior dining hall for prizes, including best dressed (who knew that Pikachu was Christmassy?!). Parents enjoyed a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie!
All in all, a great evening of fun, friendship and festivities, exactly what Westholme is all about!
