This afternoon, pupils from both our Prep School and Senior School were treated to a piano masterclass from world renowned professional pianist Martin Roscoe.
Martin was in the area to perform in the Croston Theatre for the Ribble Valley International Piano Festival but took time out of his preparation to offer his expertise of performing around the world to our pupils.
It was a brilliant experience for all pupils, but watching their faces as Martin effortlessly sight-read their music in order to demonstrate a more musical way of playing was eye-opening!
Offering helpful tips and guidance, Martin delivered with such warmth and great attention to detail. It was such a joy and privilege for our students to have an amazing opportunity like this, and one they will treasure forever.
