Pupils experience a taster afternoon in their new classes
From Nursery through to the Year 6, all pupils enjoyed their move up day earlier today.
Our youngest pupils enjoyed the journey to Billinge House and an afternoon spent in Pre School.
They spent time playing with new friends and loved getting to know their new teachers – how grown up they felt!
Each class from Pre School up to Year 6 moved up to what will be their class next year – meeting new teachers as they went.
The current Year 2 girls enjoyed spending the afternoon in Year 3 with Miss Rimmer and enjoyed painting pictures whilst the boys in Year 2 had a wonderful time getting to know Mrs Daley in Year 3.
Our new Year 7 intake came to Senior School for the afternoon and had lots of fun getting to know their new friends and teachers.
They took part in ‘ice breaker’ games and enjoyed some interesting lessons including Drama, EPR and Science.
A treasure hunt and buffet tea were also enjoyed before parents arrived for an informative presentation in The Croston Theatre.
An enjoyable day was had by all!
