Museum of Science and Industry Trip

Year 2 experience a fun day of interactive learning

The Year Two children visited the Museum of Science and Industry as part of their study on transport through the ages.

They visited the ”˜Power Hall’ to learn about steam locomotives, where they met Pender the steam engine and Fireman Fred.   They then flew to the moon in a 4D simulator, exploring what it would feel like to be in a rocket and walk on the moon!

The children also enjoyed a hands-on experience in the scientific museum ”˜Experiment’.   They had a fantastic and very informative day.
