On Tuesday 26th February all Year 9 students had the fantastic opportunity of taking part in the National Business Challenge sponsored by Ryman Stationery.
Their challenge was to initiate, promote, brand and finance an event or activity that would encourage more young women to participate in football. The challenge was set by the UCFB and students throughout the country have been taking part in intra school competitions.
The students worked meticulously to improve their team work, communication and business skills in order to develop their initial creative ideas into realistic business proposals that will generate a profit and achieve the UCFBs objective of doubling participation by 2020.
We are delighted that the winning team ‘Suffrage Unite’ will now represent Westholme at the national final which takes place at Wembley stadium on July 10th.
A fantastic day!
