NSPCC Assemblies

Jan from the NSPCC came to talk to Infants and Juniors in their assemblies and they explained in a child friendly terminology what the NSPCC do to help children.

The ‘Speak Out, Stay Safe’ campaign is designed to help children speak out, to keep them safe and to help them report any type of abuse or bullying they may experience.

They explained that when you call Childline a counsellor is available to talk to children for free and are available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week and the money that is being raised will help pay for this worthwhile service.

We are looking forward to welcoming the NSPCC back to Westholme to present them with their share of the sponsorship money that we have raised; we will update you with the final amount.
