Nursery Pyjama Week

quiz night

Nursery children enjoy wearing their pyjamas for charity

On the 7th and 8th of March, it looked like the Nursery children and staff had just rolled out of bed as they all arrived in their pyjamas.

However, it was to support Humphrey’s Pyjama week which is a charity initiative organised by The Children’s Trust and much loved Humphrey’s corner.   The Children’s Trust provides care, education, therapy and rehabilitation to children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs.

They  had all different colours of pyjamas with designs including Thomas the tank engine, Elmo, Peppa Pig, Spiderman, Hello Kitty, Princesses, Gruffalo, Spots, Flowers and fleecy bears!!

The children enjoyed participating in a variety of activities including a pyjama dance party, baking and decorating yummy buns, games, pass the parcel and then for an extra donation they could guess the name of the teddy bear.   The winner gets to take the teddy bear home with them.
