Westholme’s former Nursery building – a new look physio clinic
Westholme School was proud to show its support at the official opening of BMI Beardwood Hospital’s state-of-the-art Physiotherapy Clinic last week. They welcomed World Superbike star and King of the Jungle, Carl Fogarty to ‘cut the ribbon’. The clinic is housed in our former Nursery building on Preston New Road and faces onto the hospital grounds.
BMI Beardwood Executive Director Samantha Sheehan explained: “Due to an increase in demand we had outgrown the physio facilities available in the actual hospital so when Westholme School gave us the chance to lease their old Nursery building we saw it as a great opportunity.
“It will allow us to treat more patients as well as offering group classes for things such as Pilates – it really will be a great asset to the hospital.”
Mrs Davenport, Commercial Director for Westholme School said ” Westholme is really pleased to partner with BMI, whose values are so similar to our own. They too strive for excellence in all they do, and they have made a superb job of the conversion. We are enjoying additional staff benefits including a screening programme and physiotherapy options, and our students have provided some photographs and artwork for the refurbishment of the main hospital too. We are delighted with the outcome on many different levels.”
