Four talented Westholme students took to the stage at His Majesty’s Theatre, on London’s West End on Sunday 25 June. They performed in a piece “Because You Ca Ca Can” based on the musical Moulin Rouge as part of a Musical Theatre Showcase. They attend Stagecoach Performing Arts Preston & Chorley weekly and have worked on their piece since April (click on the images below to enlarge them and see them in action).
It was year 10 students Erin, Zak and Emilia west end debut. Bill, Year 12, performed in the ensemble in a piece at the Shaftesbury theatre in 2021 and was thrilled this year to play the lead role of Christian. Here they are pictured with their Stagecoach Principal Kate Parkinson who is also a vocal coach at Westholme.
The video of their whole performance will be on social media later this week, and also online via the website: www.stagecoach.co.uk/preston
All these students have a busy week ahead as they return from the west end stage, taking to the outdoor stage at Westholme performing in A Midsummer Nights Dream later on in the week!
Well done!
