Prizegiving Ceremony

The Senior School’s annual Prizegiving Ceremony

Westholme’s Senior School’s Prizegiving Ceremony took place at King George’s Hall, Blackburn. This is always the highlight of the school year where all the wonderful things that Westholme pupils achieve are celebrated. The Prize Presenter was Dame Sue Ion, who is a non-executive director on the board of the Laboratory of the UK Health & Safety Executive and who also sits on the Scientific Advisory Group of the Department for Energy and Climate Change.

As always the music was outstanding with the orchestra performing Music for the Royal Fireworks by George Frederick Handel and the choir singing a Barry Manilow Medley. Mr Ainsworth and Mrs Croston even joined in the percussion section with their maracas, which brought the house down!
