Reception children enjoy a day in the great ourdoors
Reception had great fun at Brockholes Nature Reserve near Preston. They learnt about hibernation and migration and went on an Autumn walk, which involved searching for squirrels and making dens.
Children also learnt about how and why animals hibernate and they even saw a real snake that was getting ready to hibernate at the end of November. Then they made their very own hedgehogs out of clay and natural materials.
A great day was had by all.
