Junior School children raise money for The British Heart Foundation
The Junior Schools’ Annual Red for Heart Coffee Morning took place earlier today. As usual, the pupils accessorised their uniforms with red in order to raise money for The British Heart Foundation.
Many parents came to show their support and have coffee, cakes and biscuits served to them by the pupils.
Staff at the Girls’ Junior School had donated items for a raffle which was to be drawn later in the day.
Special thanks must go to the catering staff, who made the wonderful cupcakes (and, of course, the Westholme shortbread!) that were on sale.
Collectively, they raised over £800 for The British Heart Foundation.
