The RNCM’s Brass Band Concert

Westholme was delighted to play host to the Royal Northern College of Music’s Brass Band on Tuesday 26th January. 

The band gave a workshop to Years 7 to 10 in the afternoon – which gave pupils a foretaste of the evening’s concert. 

Both the Westholme Brass Band and Swing Band entertained the arriving audience – the Swing Band having recruited a couple of extra trumpet players from the RNCM! Westholmers were later congratulated later by conductor Dr Nicholas Childs.

  

The RNCM Brass Band’s full and varied programme was very much enjoyed by all.
