A new challenge for Westholme’s engineers!
At the start of the Spring term Westholme’s budding engineers were hard at work recycling waste to build a rubbish racer.
These were to be made from things that would normally be thrown away. They had to be designed to travel as far and as straight as possible when rolled down a large ramp.
The vehicle to travel the furthest was “Voyager3” constructed by Year 9 student Hasna Ghafoor. This covered 6.33m with very little deviation from straight ahead.
