Westholme fielded two teams in football matches against Scarisbrick yesterday.
The U11’s and U9’s arrived at Scarisbrick to find the sun shining brightly, perfect football weather for our two teams.
We played one 9 a side game and one 5 a side game. Both teams tried their hardest and showed improvement as the matches went on.
It was great to see them learning from errors and attempting to put them right. Sadly, Scarisbrick proved too strong for us in both matches and ran out winners.
Credit to the lads for keeping their heads up throughout.
