Science and Art Awards 2016

Mr & Mrs Lamb present a special assembly

This morning, we welcomed Mr and Mrs Lamb into school for a special assembly where they presented their annual awards for Art and Science.

Each year, Mrs Lamb, a keen art enthusiast selects a piece of art from the Art and Photography exhibition to be displayed in the offices of Blackburn Chemicals, where Mr Lamb is the Managing Director. This year, Mrs Lamb chose Lucy Atwood’s beautiful trio, ‘Ballet Dancers’ which were painted after Lucy took inspiration from artist, Penny Ward, whose paintings of the Stations of the Cross adorn the walls in Blackburn Cathedral.
