A wonderful afternoon of cross country at Sedbergh.
It featured a very steep uphill from the start line. It certainly made us realise that we were in a race as we gasped for breath on the way up. It was a very challenging course, with steep gradients and boggy mud!
Everyone tried their hardest and I was delighted with their effort. Special mention must go to Eleanor who gave up her race position to help one of her team mates who was struggling towards the end.
Fortunately, warm showers and a hot feed afterwards helped us to recover!
