Our Senior Drama Cabaret Showcase took place last night and what a show it was!
The Showcase proved to be a huge draw for more aspiring actors and performers, which included boys and girls from every year; all hoping to raise the roof of the Croston Theatre.
There was an incredible variety of acts showing off the talents of the pupils, ranging from high energy musical theatre such as ‘The Greatest Showman’ and ‘Mary Poppins, the humorous anecdotes from ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ and favourites like ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘Wicked’.
There was also a glimpse of what is to come with our Summer Production ‘Chicago’ which really captured our imagination!
The Showcase was a roller coaster of emotion sometimes sending the audience into fits of laughter and other times sending spine-tingling shivers through the auditorium.
It was obvious that so much hard work and professionalism had gone into producing the show including the fabulous costumes, set design, sound and lighting, which only enhanced the performances of all of the students.
A fantastic evening and everyone who was involved should be very proud of a great show!
