Senior School Carol Service

Choir master leads the choir who sing at the Westholme senior school carol service in Blackburn Cathedral

After the success of the Junior School Carol Service last week, the Senior School service took place yesterday evening at Blackburn Cathedral and the festive cheer was there to be felt by all.

The Cathedral looked stunning with Christmas trees and candlelight illuminating the knave.

Family and friends gathered to join the students, staff and Governors to celebrate on this joyous occasion.

The service began with the first of several traditional carols, ‘Once in David’s City’ and there were readings interspersed by fabulous performances by the Junior and Senior Choirs, the Swing and Brass Bands and the Orchestra.

The evening was wonderfully uplifting and filled with the pure joy of Christmas.
