Helpful insight for Year 10 & 11 students
What better way to learn about a new group of subjects available at A-level than to experience them first hand! On Tuesday 25th November, Year 10 and 11 students experienced A-level Social Sciences, including Economics, Business, Sociology & Psychology by taking part in four subject specific activities.
They made a cheese sandwich for their own target market, learnt how to survive in Greenland through teamwork, analysed sociological dilemmas and took part in their own ‘learn behaviour’ experiment.
The evening closed with a buffet tea and some social time in the Sixth Form Common Room and Café. The session proved to be a useful insight into what these subjects might entail at A-level.
