Girls in Years 4, 5 & 6 enjoy their swimming gala
The Beardwood Bank Swimming Gala was held yesterday. All girls were eager to begin the race to earn as many points for their House as they could.
Traditional races including relays and lengths were contested amongst the more obscure ones such as the pyjama race, the candle race and the mother and baby race. A new record in the 1 length butterfly race was set by Alexandra Putman – well done, Alex!
Congratulations to Bowland who won the gala, followed by Longridge in 2nd place and Pendle in 3rd.
