Former staff enjoy a tea party for Westholme’s Retirees
A picture-perfect tea party was held in honour of Westholme’s Retirees, Mrs Croston, Mrs Patefield and Mr Henwood yesterday afternoon in the beautiful surroundings of the school library. The sun shone, the Pimms flowed, and there were smiles all round as former staff enjoyed reminiscing with their former colleagues and current members of staff.
We all enjoyed the humorous, tear-jerking, and often off-the-cuff speeches and all too soon the tea party was over. Many colleagues and friends seemed reluctant to leave, such was the happy time that everyone had enjoyed.
