Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Pre-School children enjoy a Teddy Bear’s Picnic

As part of their topic of Journeys, Pre-School children went on their own journey to Wilmar Lodge for a Teddy Bears Picnic. In the days leading up to their expedition, the children had been busy making their own Teddy Bear. They lovingly filled the bear with stuffing and they even put a wish cloud inside each one.

As the time to depart Billinge House came closer, the children were excited about their journey on the coach to Westholme Senior School. On arrival, they travelled to the Sixth Form Common Room to begin their picnic.

After eating their snack (which of course they fed to their bear too!), the children took part in a game of pass the parcel, before going outside (after the rain had stopped!) for a whole class photograph.

What a lovely journey they all had.
