Year One perform their Spring Assembly
Year One children have been finding out about recycling and helping to care for our world. They have learnt about the three Rs (reduce, recycle and reuse), reused natural materials to make sculptures and recycled various materials to make musical instruments.
The terms work has culminated in a year group assembly called ‘The Litter Muncher’, performed earlier today to friends and family. The story centres around Lazy Lazy Village which is kept clean and tidy by a machine called ‘Litter Muncher.’
As the children took to the stage in their brightly coloured outfits, they told the story perfectly, speaking with clear voices and wonderful singing throughout.
What a way to round off the Spring Term!
