Drama students enjoy an exciting workshop
30 Westholme Drama students from Years 10 to 13 took part in an exciting drama workshop after the stunning performance of The Trench in the Croston Theatre on the 8th November. They were expertly led by the actor John Cockerill from the London theatre company, Les Enfants Terribles, who demonstrated how to operate the puppets used in the production. Students were also encouraged to create a human orchestra of sound using their voices and a variety of musical instruments such as the unusual water phone!
As a result, many of our students have been inspired to use these new techniques to enhance their own devising work. And those in Year 11 will be writing a detailed review of the performance for their written examination.
