Fun and excitment at the W Club
January W Club members enjoyed four, fun-filled and action packed days. On day one, they were taught ZUMBA by Miss Cole. They wiggled their hips and hip-hopped their way through lots of Latin inspired music. Oh what fun!
Smithills Open Farm in Bolton was the venue for day two. Despite the wind and rain, they all enjoyed a fantastic time amongst the animals. They started out in pets’ corner, where they stroked and fed baby goats and piglets. They also managed to get up close to the donkeys, an owl, rabbits and guinea pigs. One of the many highlights was the donkey ride, which the children said was fun, but quite bumpy and also being able to see the cows being milked.
W Club wouldn’t be complete without a day of being able to get messy, whilst being creative! Day three saw the children enjoy clay modelling, painting, making picture frames and finger puppets.
Winter Wonderland was the theme for the final day of fun and games. The children made chocolate snowmen, designed snowflakes using paper, made snow fairies and, of course, decorated them with glitter and fake snow.
