Billinge House children learn how to bake the perfect loaf!
Mix it, Knead it, Roll it..echoed from the Reception classrooms, as our children put all of their effort into baking their own bread. Hair nets and aprons on, children quickly had flour everywhere around Mrs Hearle’s classroom – their very own bakery for the day!
Before their visit, children had been learning about the ingredients to make bread. Finally, it all made sense as every boy and girl saw, felt and even smelled what it was like to bake bread! At the end they were very pleased to take their baked creations home to eat.
