Open Day 2011
There was a bright and sunny feeling at our annual Open Day this year. We felt truly blessed with the beautiful weather on the day, and not only did the sun shine, but so did our pupils and staff. Our many visitors commented on the warmth, confidence and poise of our students as they happily showed off our school to prospective parents.
As visitors walked around they enjoyed taking part in the various activities on offer, such as woodwork at the Boys’ Junior School and craft activities at the Girls’ Junior School, whilst Science proved to be popular at the Senior School.
One guest even sent in a thank you letter earlier last week and commented that our guide gave us a very comprehensive tour of the school which was great, but not only that, she made us feel very welcome. She was polite at all times; she was confident and came across as a really lovely girl. She is a credit to the school.
Everyone pulled together as a team to make it a polished and professional day along with the sun, the Westholme spirit shone brightly.
