Fun and Games at the Westholme Association Junior Disco
The Junior School disco was held at the Sixth Form Centre and was a fantastic success allowing the Association to raise in the region of 600 from ticket sales, “glow stick sales”, refreshment sales and a raffle.
Parents enjoyed a glass of wine and nibbles in the Sixth Form Common Room (…peacefully!), whilst the children were entertained in the Assembly Hall by our fabulous DJ.
The children enjoyed two hours of dancing and games, and even managed to help tidy up the hall thanks to Mr Lewis’ inventive competition! Mrs Booth then led the “conga” upstairs to reunite the children with their parents.
The Association must give their thanks especially for the help of Mrs Laverick, Mr Lewis, Mrs Bolton and Miss Rimmer along with all the school staff who helped with this event, without them, these events would not be possible.
