Year 11 step up into Sixth Form

Year 11’s Preparation for Sixth Form Day

On Thursday 27th June the new Lower Sixth cohort were welcomed into the Sixth Form centre at Wilmar Lodge for their Sixth Form Preparation afternoon.   The girls mixed with current members of the Sixth Form to hear their ”˜top tips for success’ at A level before meeting their new form tutors and taking part in an inter-form quiz and treasure hunt.  

Later in the afternoon students collectively created a unique piece of art work that will be displayed in the Common Room to commemorate their time in the Sixth Form.   Parents then  joined students and staff for a party tea and to receive information from Mrs Waldron about Sixth form induction activities post GCSE results.   Everyone left feeling  happy and excited about the start of a new chapter in their Westholme Education!
