Year 3 girls enjoy their House Swimming Gala
The Year 3 House Swimming Gala took place earlier today. Members of each House team had been split into groups, namely Alligators, Sharks, Crocodiles, Dolphins and Eels.
They competed against each other in events including the ping pong race, mushroom float, and Harry Potter race. Everyone had a great time and the results were extremely close.
In fact, as the final scores were read out, it emerged that there was a tie! Therefore, the Alligators took part in one final event to determine a winner. Congratulations to Pendle who were the winners, finishing with 177 points. In close second, were Bowland on 176 points and Longridge finished in third place with 136 points.
Well done to everyone – it really was a great swimming gala!
