An epic day for the Yr4 boys first ever football festival.
Slightly nervous with not knowing what to expect but determined to put in a fine showing for the honour of Westholme!
The first match saw us win! A 1-0 win at that, with Bobby scoring a 15 yard belter!
Thereafter, we had some goals scored against us and lost and we also scored some, most notably, Advay’s fine effort in our final match. All in all, a great learning experience for the boys, with wins and losses. We were gracious in victory and defeat, always making sure we gave three loud cheers to the opposition (sadly, shaking hands was banned!).
Well done to the boys, a great effort!
