Year 5 pupils participate in the Reading Competition
The standard in this year’s Reading Competition was extremely high. Each and every one of the finalists should be very proud. With many parents and friends in the audience, you would have thought the nerves would have got the better of them – not at all! Mrs Christine McDonald, teacher of English at Westholme Senior School judged this year’s event. The winner for the Boys’ Junior school was Shuresh Ghanbari-Saheli and in first place for the Girls’ Junior School was Niamh Gregg. Well done to both of you!
