A celebration of memories, achievements and experiences
This morning Year 6 children presented their farewell assembly to parents, staff and the rest of the Junior School children.
They began by explaining that their final assembly was not meant to be a soppy tearjerker of how they would miss Beardwood Bank but it was a celebration of their time at the Junior School.
A special news report had been prepared by the children; it took guests on a journey of memories from their time at the Junior School. The children spoke of many favourite moments, from Mr Harrison’s bad jokes in Year 4 to Mrs Shipley breaking into song during a maths lesson in Year 6.
The children and guests were glad to have shared in this special moment as Year 6 move on to new challenges and it is clear that they will always think fondly of their time at Beardwood Bank.
Best wishes to the whole class of 2017.
