Year 7 Geographers head to Hothersall
The Year 7 girls’ geography field trip to Hothersall took place on an unseasonably cold March day. Wrapped up warmly, girls studied pond life, took on a tricky orienteering course and ably rose to the challenges of their problem-solving activities. All Year 7 had studied map skills during the autumn term so they were very able to interpret their orienteering maps and take on the diverse terrain of Hothersall Lodge. The day was action-packed and fun – a great first experience of Westholme Geography field trips!
