We’re proud that all of our sports facilities are located right here on campus at Wilmar Lodge, meaning pupils can balance physical education with academic study.

Our on-site indoor pool is a fantastic resource, giving pupils from Prep upwards the chance to build confidence in the water through swimming lessons, water safety and team sessions.

Full-Sized Astroturf and Football Pitch

Whether it’s football, hockey, or other team games, our all-weather Astroturf pitch and full-size grass football field ensure year-round opportunities for competitive and recreational sport.

Hard Courts for Netball and Tennis

Our outdoor netball and tennis courts give pupils of all ages access to regular coaching, practice and inter-school competitions.

Our outdoor track gives Senior and Sixth Form students the space to build their athletic skills through sprinting, long-distance running, tackling hurdles, or on-field events.

Inspiring Sport in the Classroom: Choose A Level PE or BTEC Sport

For those with a passion for sport, health and fitness, we offer two outstanding Sixth Form pathways: A Level Physical Education and the new BTEC Sport Extended Certificate (from 2025).

Our OCR-accredited A Level Physical Education course offers the perfect balance between theory and practice. Students explore topics such as anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, psychology and the role of sport in society. They’re also assessed in a chosen sport, both practically and analytically.

BTEC Sport Extended Certificate (New for 2025)

This exciting new option is ideal for students looking for a more vocational route. The BTEC Sport course combines hands-on learning with real-world skills. Students study modules in anatomy, fitness training, professional development and leadership, with opportunities to specialise in areas like sports psychology or performance.
