Sixth Form student receives commendation by Trinity College, Cambridge for essay entry
Upper Sixth Form student, Molly Walker entered the Trinity College, Cambridge, Gould Prize for essays in English Literature. In the essay, Molly was required to relate any form of literary writing (poetry, fiction, drama etc.) to any other art form (painting, music, film etc.) and make detailed reference to a literary work she had read – no easy task!
Molly was delighted to receive a formal commendation for the high quality of her essay and the Directors of Studies in English commented ‘We enjoyed reading your essay immensely… It was a thoughtful and creative response to the question and we enjoyed your own use of language’.
Well done, Molly!
