Year 8 compete in ‘The Westholme Challenge Cookery Competition’

Each of the Year 8 Food Technology groups have recently taken part in ‘The Westholme Challenge Cookery Competition’. During their practical lesson they had to make an international dish for 2 people, which cost no more than £5. The students also had to produce a written portfolio to support their practical work.

All students worked extremely hard and produced a wide range of interesting and unusual dishes. This made choosing the winners extremely difficult, but after much deliberation the following prizes were awarded to the following students.
