Year 10 pupils enjoying the countryside
The Year 10 geographers ventured out into the beautiful countryside of the Forest of Bowland to carry out their physical geography fieldwork.
They investigated the changing characteristics of the River Wyre from near the source, at Trough Beck, heading downstream to Marshaw Wyre.
Their team work was superb and all they were quick to learn how to use a range of new equipment from gun clinometers to ranging poles. The students were focused and well organised and this enabled them to gather the data effectively.
They were an absolutely excellent group of explorers!
