Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies!

We firmly believe that physical health and fitness is fundamental to emotional and mental wellbeing and to this end students and staff at Senior School have enjoyed a special fitness food event this week. This has included focus upon different food types for certain activities including super foods, those that boost the immune system, energy giving foods or good for strengthening bones and teeth.

This week our ever inventive and dedicated Catering Team designed a special menu introducing different ingredients to our already delicious healthy balanced meals. They also produced colourful posters which were displayed around School to illustrate the particular benefits of fruit and vegetables and even provided some surprising facts. 

Thank you to the Catering Team for all of their hard work – it was very much appreciated by everyone!

Students in Year 7 to 10 also took part in ‘Wake Up, Shake Up’ and it certainly blew the cobwebs away, as you can see in the video below.
