It has been 5 years since we last updated the Alumni Careers Handbook and we would very much like to produce a new one – with your help!

The Alumni Career Paths e-book, illustrates the variety of work our former pupils have chosen. There are over 100 examples of amazing career paths, from surgeons to coffee buyers! It is well used by the current pupils and helps to inspire them to think beyond the obvious.

Our Alumni have always been an important part of Westholme’s history. This year we hope to focus on developing the bond which we strive to nurture with our students both past, present and future.

Recently we hosted Beyond Westholme, an incredibly successful event which brought together Alumni and current Year 11, 12 and 13 students to discuss career paths and future life opportunities. If you click here you will be able to see news article about the evening in more detail.

The Alumni very much enjoyed meeting up with other Old Westholmians and they also embraced the chance to inspire and advise our current students on their careers options.

Looking to the future, we would like to repeat this event and will advise you when a new date has been scheduled. In the meantime, we would like to update our Alumni Careers booklet (click here to view the current booklet) We hope that by producing an updated version that we can reach out to more Alumni and develop the network which in turn will also be of benefit to our current students.

We would be most grateful if you could send a short career biography and recent photo of yourself which we can include in the updated booklet. Please also include your current contact details. Finally, as we aim to keep in contact with more Old Westholmians, we would like to invite you to connect with us through Social Media both on Twitter and the new dedicated Facebook and LinkedIn Old Westholmians pages.

In order to collate this information as soon as possible we would be grateful if all entries could be submitted by Friday 29th April.
