Lancashire Schools’ Cross Country Championship Winners

Exceptional running by Westholme’s Cross Country Runners!

Westholme cross country runners performed exceptionally well at the Lancashire Schools’ Cross Country Championships held at Witton Park on Saturday 6^th February.

Congratulations to Beckie Taylor who won the Intermediate Girls’ Race and is the County Champion!

Charlotte Atkinson who finished 4^th and Rachel Leech 26^th.  All three girls helped Blackburn with Darwen gain First Team place.

Katie Buckley finished in 3^rd place in the Junior Race with Emma Dean in 58^th position.  The Junior Team also took First place. 

Maddie Ainsworth finished in 5^th position, Flora Robson in 23^rd and Grace Collum in 37^th position in the Year 7 race. 

Emma Flanagan ran a very good individual race to finish 4^th in the Senior Girls’ Race.

Beckie, Charlotte, Emma and Katie have all be selected to represent Lancashire in the English Schools Championships.
