Number 1 position for James Hartley in Mathletics.
Mathletics is the next generation in learning, helping students enjoy and improve their results. Mathletics covers Key Stage 1 to A Level National Curriculum. The children can play against others from all over the world. As they complete the questions asked, they acquire points. As their points total increases, they become eligible to enter the Hall of Fame.
On Wednesday 9th February, Year 4 pupil, James Hartley was Number 1 in the UK, of the top 100 schools. More impressively, he was Number 2 worldwide!
It is exciting for these young Mathematicians to keep the competition alive – the leaderboard is constantly updated the more points each child acquires.
It is thanks to the Westholme Association, who bought the annual subscription for the Boys School, that James and many of his school friends are able to learn and improve their Maths skills whilst having fun.
Congratulations to James on this fantastic achievement. He is pictured below with the Hall of Fame leaderboard print outs.
