Update from the Head of Prep, Mrs Hornby

Dear Parents,

What a wonderful week it has been at the Prep School, especially following our fabulous French adventure with children from Prep 4, 5 and 6 last week!

Our PGL trip to northern France was a huge success – full of unforgettable experiences, laughter, and learning. From exploring historic towns and trying their hand at French conversation, to Château d’Ebblinghem.  We all enjoyed sampling local delicacies (including a fair amount of croissants and pain au chocolats’!) and the children truly made the most of every moment.

It was a joy to see their confidence grow as they embraced new challenges and supported one another along the way. Their enthusiasm, impeccable behaviour, and curiosity were a credit to the school, and we were so proud to accompany them on such a rewarding journey.

A huge thank you to the staff team who made the trip possible – their energy, care and commitment ensured a smooth and enriching experience for all involved.

Back at school, the buzz from the trip is still in the air, and it’s lovely to see the children sharing their memories with classmates and teachers alike. We look forward to more opportunities like this that help build independence, resilience, and a love of adventure.
