Psychology students’ lessons in Survival Memory
Two Research Associates, Dr Emma Threshgold and Dr Sarah Garner from the department of Psychology at City University, London visited Westholme today. They are currently working on a three-year project investigating the relationship between memory performance and analogical reasoning across development. They gave the Year 13 Psychology students the opportunity to take part in a Psychology experiment during their lessons and delivered a talk on Survival Memory to some Year 11, 12 and 13 students during lunchtime.
Dr Threshgold and Dr Garner are coming into school again later in the week to collect more data, deliver a talk on analogical problem-solving and to discuss work experience opportunities with the Psychology students.
