Senior Mountain biking trip
The final mountain bike trip for the academic year took place on Saturday 7 June. Eight intrepid students and two teachers braved the Lake District and were treated to some pretty variable conditions.
There was plenty of sunshine, but rather a lot of it was in liquid form! All of the students got around the entire north and south loop at Whinlatter Forest in one piece, demonstrating real resilience and skill on their bikes.
There was the occasional low speed tumble, no doubt due to the wet and slippery conditions, but even this could not dampen spirits.
Everyone finished off the day drying themselves out in the forest cafe, enjoying well-earned cakes and drinks.
