Expressive Arts Club perform Christmas Carols
Members of the Expressive Arts Club visited Springfield Care Home and Beardwood Hospital this morning to perform some Christmas Carols to the residents and patients and outpatients.
For many weeks, they had been rehearsing festive tunes and readings and today, they were greeted with rapturous applause from their audiences. Sam Sheehan, Executive Director for BMI Beardwood Hospital said, “It really was a pleasure to hear the children sing. I was privileged to attend the Senior School Carol Service last night at the Cathedral which was magical; it is no wonder when they are used to performing at such a young age”. The children were also given a BMI Bear as a thank you gift.
Thank you to Mrs Dixon and Mrs Williams for running Expressive Arts Club and to Springfield Care Home and BMI Beardwood Hospital allowing us to perform.
